Muzaffarnagar Medical College is promoted by Fateh Chand Charitable Trust. Trustees are among prominent Academicians, Politicians and Businessmen. Trust is taking initiative for the benefit of the society with the objective to provide and promote education in the field of Medical Education & Health Care Services.

Muzaffarnagar Medical College is offering course in Medical Sciences i.e, MBBS/MD/MS & DM from its campus developed in 25 acres of land at Muzaffarnagar. The whole campus is aesthetically developed in a pollution free and peaceful environment suitable for a healthy and academic atmosphere. Located opp. Begrajpur Industrial Area at 115 km mile stone on Delhi – Dehradun National Highway-58, it is 8 kms towards Delhi from Muzaffarnagar. The Medical College is well connected by road and railways. Public transport facility is easily available as the Delhi to Haridwar/Dehradun/Rishikesh buses pass through this highway. Besides private buses are also available for nearby towns and villages round the clock with an official bus stop in front of the College main gate. The college has an Administrative Block, which houses Department of Anatomy also. There is a separate Pre & Para Clinical Block consisting of Department of Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Pathology and Community Medicine. The Laboratories in all these departments are fully furnished as per the requirements of National Medical Commission, New Delhi, erstwhile Medical Council of India. The Clinical Departments are in the hospital building as well as in New Building Block A to D, so that the clinicians may be available to their patients. All Lecture Theatres are Air- Conditioned. College has a Council room and a Medical Education Unit to fulfill the needs of all the departments. There are separate common rooms for boys and girls with adjacent cafeteria. The Clinical departments comprise of all broad specialties. In addition, there are specialties of Cardiology, Nephrology, Urology and Burn & Plastic surgery. It is a matter of great satisfaction that in such a short time of its existence, the institution has been able to create facilities for Renal Dialysis and major operations like Laminectomy, Spinal Surgeries, Joint Replacement and Laparoscopic Surgery, besides all other routine operations in various departments with latest available equipments.

There is a well-established department of Radio-diagnosis (Radiology) having the facilities of State-of-the-Art 1.5 Tesla MRI with MR Spectroscopy facility, 16 Slice CT Scan and a Mammography unit. The Institute also has facility for DSA, in addition to Cathlab in Cardiology department & ERCP facility. Facilities for Bronchoscopy, G.I. endoscopy and Laryngoscopy are available in the institute. Round the clock Casualty/Emergency Medicine Department with all necessary facilities and equipments like X-ray Unit, USG and CT scan, MRI and ambulance services is also available. In addition, a state of the art IVF centre facility is also available. It is needless to say that for any Medical College a good hospital backup is the most important requisite. The hospital is well equipped with backup facilities of Pathology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Physiotherapy and Blood Centre. After approval from NMC all of the Broad Specialties departments are running Post Graduate Medical Courses (MD/MS) affiliated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh with effect from Batch 2021.
150 MBBS seats have been already recognized by the National Medical Commission, New Delhi. Further, National Medical Commission (Erstwhile MCI) has also granted permission for increase of 50 Seats Vide Letter No. NMC/UGI/2023-24/000019/009799 Dated 03.03.2023, increasing the admission strength of College to 200 MBBS seats. In addition, the College is also running PG courses i.e., MD/MS courses in all the board specialties and DM Course in Cardiology.
